Certificate Awarding Ceremony held at University of Asia Pacific for students placed in Vice Chancellor and Dean Merit List

 

On June 02, 2013 University of Asia Pacific arranged Certificate Awarding Ceremony to recognize the outstanding academic performances of the students placed in Vice Chancellor's and Dean's merit list in Fall Semester 2012. Vice Chancellor of UAP Prof. Dr Jamilur Reza Choudhury, Member of Board of Trustees Mr. Alhaj Abdul Malek Mollah, Deans of Faculties and Departmental Heads were present on the occasion. Guardians of the students were also present in the ceremony to witness their wards' recognition of academic excellence.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Jamilur Reza Choudhury said, “Our motto is to take UAP to the global level.” He praised the effort to organize this event saying, “Such award ceremonies are arranged in some of the most excellent North American Universities, this award will definitely encourage the students to be more attentive to their studies in future, they will be inspired to work harder and do even better”, he advised the students to be regular in their studies. He also suggested them to be involved with extra-curricular and creative activities besides studying where they find interest . Later the certificates were handed over to the students by the Vice Chancellor, Deans and Departmental Heads of UAP.

A total number of 391 students from eight departments of UAP received certificates, among them 160 were awarded Vice Chancellor’s merit list certificates and 231 were awarded Dean’s merit lest certificates.
